PERCEPTION presents a compelling narrative on how technology has contributed to a hyper-realistic, curated version of life as individuals increasingly seek escapism in meticulously filtered virtual worlds. The collection captures this ethos, constructing a sensory experience that mirrors the ethereal dreamscapes of modern-day digital environments.
Influenced by artist James Turrell's transformative philosophy of light as a physical presence rather than mere illumination, PERCEPTION uses self-curated colour gradients, layered textures, and unexpected forms to manipulate light and colour in ways that evoke shifting emotions and altered perceptions, transporting viewers into a realm where the boundaries between physical and digital worlds blur.

This dynamic movement of light is brought to life through looks that reshape and redefine form. It is accentuated by incorporating intricate small crush machine pleating that adds a sharp, architectural quality, capturing light's bending and refracting nature.
Central to PERCEPTION is a standout knit dress, self-created entirely using advanced computer technology, through being awarded a sponsorship to use the Shima Seiki WholeGarment 3D Knitting Machine. This one-of-a-kind piece epitomises the fusion of fashion, technology and sustainability, exemplifying the seamless integration of the digital realm with fashion.

Each look is a sculptural exploration of volume and space. The bold yet delicate silhouettes exude movement and life, offering a wearable representation of how colour, light and silhouette can interact within the human form. One look features over 1000 individually laser-cut circles, meticulously layered to form a surreal, dreamlike silhouette. This design creates a sense of movement and dimension, enhancing the sublime feel of the piece.
